Utility Data Entry Specialist

EnergyPrint is currently looking for a Utility Data Entry Specialist to join it’s growing team.

Position Overview

This individual is responsible for the gathering, organization and entering of ongoing and historical utility data into the EnergyPrint tool with the highest level of accuracy and data integrity, ensuring the achievement of data input schedule and performance goals daily, weekly and monthly. This individual is also responsible for delivering internal setup and support on customer deliverables as detailed in contracts and communicated by Client Services team. This job requires the ability to creatively problem solve data issues that arise while completing data entry, data reconciliation and auditing.

This position is a contract for hire position with a 3 month commitment with an option to extend. Compensation will be $15/hour.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Accountable for monthly metrics as detailed by team leader
  • Input ongoing property utility data before monthly update each month
  • Input utility histories for new properties in the EnergyPrint tool
  • Escalate data issues, including data gaps or input inconsistencies to proper personnel
  • Attend daily scrums to prioritize tasks

Additional Responsibilities

  • Complete customer onboarding tasks in collaboration with the Client Services team
  • Utilize data management tools to complete property updates
  • Request and follow through with utility company data inquiries as directed
  • Request and follow up with customers/users who provide monthly bills
  • Proactively assist in the resolution of data issues where possible
  • Assist in the set up and management of Energy Star
  • Assist in the completion of customer data projects
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • Data entry experience with 10-key accuracy and speed
  • Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft applications
  • Comfortable working in and with web-based applications via multiple browsers
  • 2 years of work experience – preferably in a data intensive role
  • Degree preferred, or equivalent work experience in professional environment
  • Proven experience delivering to specific metrics and goals
  • High degree of accuracy and accountability to project goals
  • Strong detail-oriented and multi-tasking skills
